It was a struggle today! Had two great friends out for a long overdue trip. Had the boat laid up for a couple weeks for maintenance and some trailer repairs and I installed a Lowrance Elite7 fishfinder. The good news love the new toy and boat ram like a top. Beautiful sunrise but was greeted by a large tight swell coming from the SE. To keep it short and sweet headed for Ambrose good drift couple shorts decided to head further S. this was the first mistake followed by many moves, screaming current, no current you get my drift? No pun intended. Worked our ass's off for 4 keepers one that was donated back on its way to the box, yea that kind of day. But had a blast beautiful weather and good company and that's what it's all about!
