Started out fishing the current as it was already running at 1.5 knots, got the lead out and had a nice pick going on shorts and keepers. 20 minutes into the action we had a medical emergency and had to run into Sandy Hook C.G.
By the time we came back out the game plan was still the same, but it was tough too say the least.
Worked hard all day slugging away to catch some nice keepers and a whole bunch of just short fish! Told Andy, one of my regs that I had lit several candles for him and today was his day for the pool. Last drop I gave him the thumbs up and sure enough he lands a nice 4 pound fish to take it!!! Good Karma right there my friends...
Several area's to fish for the weekend and with a good outgoing I'm sure the action will be hot!
Finally got the cord for the camera, so here's some nice pics from the past few days including Dick Monroe's 8 1/2 pound beauty!!
Capt. Dan is starting to see a few more bass each night along with good porgie fishing. Weather should be perfect for a night trip this weekend!!
