The waters off Point Pleasant, New Jersey are still holding nice sized fluke if you know where to go. Although we had to work at it all day long, amongst the many shorts caught, we had plenty of keepers to go around. Twelve year old Nicholas, a beginner angler, had a very hot rod pulling in several large fluke, one of which weighed in at six pounds. During the course of our fishing trip, we had a visitor stop by whose name was Ray. He weighed between 40-50 pounds, hung out with us long enough to say hello, pose for a few photos and then said he had to be on his way. It is days like this that make fishing aboard Off Duty a pleasurable experience off the beaches of Point Pleasant, New Jersey.
