Ran out today with Scott Ruscetta and crew for the flatties. Headed deep in a stiff NE wind around 18-20 in the morning with the incoming. Bumpy for the first couple of hours puttin a nice 21 incer on the first drift thinking they gonna snap today....well not exactly how it worked out. Had to drift and wait out the tide with 16-20 ounces on until the wind crapped out and the tide slowed. Once it did the bites came better amd we boxed a few nice fish and some shorts. Then the mother load of sea bass...BIG sea bass....4lb females and even bigger males coming over the rails and making their way back to the deep...what a shame they closed that fishery on us when they did. Total BS.
Running open or Charter for fluke out deep all week so check out our schedule and get out there for the last of the fluke fishing this season!......damn it went quick!
