new to tuna fishing
« on: September 02, 2013, 08:51:39 PM »
new to the offshore arena and after succesfully landing our first shark my crew and myself have gotten the offshore fever. My question is what set up should we start with in regards to trolling for bluefin. outfits, lures, and type of line...We have three penn 30 reels. we will most likely start trolling the mud whole as we sail out of new york. Are these reels overkill and if not should i add more or buy other size reels for this type of fishing.  Thanks for advise (new to this site)
