9/7 Sandy Hook Fluke Open Boat Report
« on: September 07, 2013, 07:49:21 PM »
Fished deep all day in mostly 50-80 feet. Had the incoming to start amd the boys started their bucktailing regiment. Mostly shorts and a couple of keeps until the tide changed. Switched them up to dragging meat and it seemed to be the ticket. Lots of dropped fish today also but we put a good catch together with the smallest keeper at 18.5 inches and the largest going 24.5 inches for Lou today. Current was flying as usual needing better than 12 ounces to hold bottom.
