Fishing on Irish Ayes 10-22-13

Today I fished again with my friend Capt Joe along with Rich,Tommy and Jason.  We broke SRI around 8:30am and head north in search of life. Our first stop jigging produced a very small  bluefish.  We continued north again and then east to play with the bluefish.  A few minutes after Tommy landed a nice 17lb the fleet showed up all around us. Another blue came aboard and the bite slowed down.  A couple friends Fellinger and Capt.Ron were in the area too.
       We ran back west on the quest for the Striped ones but they were not around. A pod of dolphins  caught our attention too but no other life was around them.  On our last stop a couple dozen spike weakfish were caught along with 1 keeper and were released. And we waved hello to a couple more friends, Capt.Jerry on the Monger and Capt.Kris on Fish Stixx.
        The water temp was 61deg and sky was overcast with a south wind in the morning changing West at noon.

It was a nice day on the water with good friends. Good to see everyone out and about.

Thanks for the call Fred, but my guys were too interested in looking for bass to head back out that way.  TT^

Bay was quiet .Tried the usual haunts to no avail .Trolled and bait fished ,skates and more skates .
