Reel McCoy II Sunday 10/27 report
« on: October 27, 2013, 07:28:28 PM »
Started out today jigging between the channels no luck.  The strong west wind was making it a bit uncomfortable so we made a move to the Highlands bridge grounds.  Lots of bait and bird life. We jigged up some keeper weakfish, small blues, snappers and a bunch of hickory shad.  Made a move down to Rocks no luck.  Back up to the Highlands bridge, more weakies and hickory shad.
We even got to say hello to Capt. Joe of the Irish Ayes and his crew way up North.  Had I known he was going to be up my way I could have saved a stamp and gave him my check for the blackfish trip  ;D

Good to see you out there Dan. I thought we hit the mother lode when we pulled up to all them birds working. Seems like it was just about all weakfish out there the last couple of days.

Oh well, something to bend the poles anyway.  t^

Nice Dan.  That Irish Ayes boat looks familiar :headscra:.   I think I see Bob G on the deck.   The fish were in the triangle but it was tough to make them chew. Good talking to ya on the VHF t^
