Sandy Hook Stripers....Bass Crush 11/22
« on: November 22, 2013, 05:40:53 PM »
Had the Steve Leatch group out today for the striped bass. Came around the hook and not much life so we went east. Found the bird life and dropped the iron on them. 4 fish on instantly and that set the tone for the rest of the day. Jigging lasted the usual hour or so so we dropped in the trolling gear. Constant rods bent all day....mostly double headers and some triples thrown in for good measure. Had limits and a ton of catch and release today. The spiny dogs were a pain today at times while jigging as well.
Open boat Sun Dec 1st over the holiday weekend for the stripers and blackfish.

Fishing Sandy Hook and anywhere I can get on a boat.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!
