Got out friday 5/2 after all the rain with Steve and crew. Left the Highlands on a georgous morning. The bay was chocolate milk and a minefield. Found a patch of cleaner water and some good marks so we set the plugs out for awhile but not a touch. Set up on the anchor with clams. Had some action but it was all shorts for the gang to be had.

Sat 5/3  a.m. we hosted Luis and crew. Water looked a little better so we searched some new ground and found some good marks to set up on to clam and chunk. Steady action all day on both baits with the chunk getting the bigger fish up to Victors 28lb bass.

Sat 5/3 p.m. trip was Will and crew....back to where we had them but a hard south wind came on. Had action for the first couple hours we were there, missing some bites and had 6 fish on that rolled off halfway thru the battle but managed a few for the box to 18lbs....also caught a nice fluke on a clam....nice to see them again!

Next Open Boats this week will be Wed 5/7 p.m. and Fri 5/9 p.m.
Call my cell to reserve your spots....weather looks good from tues on.
