I checked the tide tables last night, and the tide I was looking for was an hour later than yesterday, so I headed over to the Point Pleasant canal at 7AM. I caught a weakie about 20 inches at about 8AM, and 2 blues, then it got real quiet. As the water started to change at 10:30AM, it broke loose, just like yesterday only an hour later. I nailed 6 in a row and then it started pouring. But I was already wet, and one fish short of the limit, so I kept fishing. 10 minutes after the rain stopped I picked up a seventh weakie for a total of 8, first time I ever caught my limit. I didn't weigh or measure them, but they ran from about 20 to 23 inches, real nice fish. I won't get any pics, because it's pouring, and I told my son to take some to work, a woman he works with knows an 84 year old woman that loves weakfish, so he's going to give a few to her.
