Back on the Fluke grounds, for a rare weekend trip for my brother Tom and I, hoping to find some keepers. We fished the Shrewsbury Channel out to #1 Can, the breakwater at the harbor, the many dropoffs at #13 Sandy Hook Channel and outside as far South as North Beach. Outside the Skates were killing us along with a doggy and a few short Fluke and a few Sea Robins which Tom turned into our favorite bait, Killies are hard to come by at our usual spots.Back at noon with no keeper Fluke for us.
