Went North this morning, first stop was Chapel Hill Channel. Several drifts produced six shorts along with twice as many dogfish and big skates. One of those skates latched onto my finger and it took awhile for me to convince him to let go. Cleaned the wound and headed east to Ambrose, tried the deep, the edges and the flats on the New York side just a few more shorts. Took a ride just North of the VZ, nothing going on there, tide was just about slack. Stopped by West Bank and made 2 drifts where I got 10 more shorts and one 20" keeper. Headed home at noon.
Nice day to be fishing
