6/28 - Made an early departure with T-bone, Don and Skunk. Got the net out for some of natures best. Donnie gets a donut and we have strips for the day. The past couple of outings have been tough. We've been putting 5-8 keeps in the box with no major size to them. Decided to stay local for some light bucktailing and found a couple of nice ones. Skunk put a hurting on 6.5 on the boga. I followed with a 5 shortly after. We checked out several areas on the outside again with similar results... Covered in doggies. T-bone had action most of the day. Everyone made a contribution to the cooler.
6/29 Skunk goes for a double header with Kooz and Dave joining the crew. Nudged around SHB finding a few again and tested some other areas that are starting to show signs of improvement. Just have to get the conditions right. Ended the day with 6 for the table. Dave had first fish honors, a squeaker and then put another one in the tub later in the day. No big fish today, but the boys went home with some fillets. Kooz... thanks for the entertainment. Skunk... see you on the next trip.
