Gave the fluke another shot Wednesday morning before the weather situation deteriorated. Made a couple of drifts at the Shrewsbury river entrance only landing 2 shorts. On to the TC buoy area, more shorts. When the incoming started I moved to the SH channel and pick more shorts and one 19" keeper. Soon the doggies made their appearance so I moved to the knoll, more shorts and a few birds. Moved east to the swash, again another pick of shorts. Made a stop on the way back home and fished in close by the CG station. I switched to light tackle (3/4oz BT and teaser) and landed short after short (12 to 16") with a few double headers. Finished up just before noon. Just about every fluke I caught hit chart. gulp tipped with a killie, spearing caught the trash fish.
Not a bad day of catch and release (all but one)
