Kooz, Paulie and I made crew while brother Jay was slurping down steins of ale in Germany
. Should've been there. Game plan was hatched with a couple targets in mind. Excellent drift conditions and bites on every one. Paul had his game face on and didn't disappoint. The lad managed a double limit and started into the extra bonus round. Ratios were very good with keeps out distancing shorts. 11 in the tub by 7:45 and we continued to look for the right one. Biggest 4 lber came on a speck jig dressed with bunker strip (Donnie style). Not nearly enough to dance but we had a good time trying. We were on it with the a fourth limit by 10:30 (three man limit kept). Tough tossing back keepers as it is a major change from recent outings. We've been challenged to get a consistent bead on fish before a change of tide, running current or wind shift throws you off your game.
One fish came up with littoral tag which was cool. will know details later.
Overall, a good day with plenty of fillets for the table and neighbors.
