Irish Ayes Fluking 8-11-14
« on: August 11, 2014, 08:44:13 PM »
Had my Monday crew out today. Bob Cole, Harold and Ralph. With a Friday regular, Jack, joined us today.

Fished the Klondike and started catching shorts. Jack cranked in our first keeper and Bob followed shortly with a 24 1/2"er. Catching slowed down and we made several moves looking for them.

Found some decent life about four miles off of Asbury Park and continued drifting that spot for the rest of the afternoon. Many shorts and a few more keepers in the box.

Called it quits about 4 and headed in with seven keeper fluke, a sea bass and a blue fish. Only a few skates were caught today, no sea robins and no dog fish.  5hrug Not complaining, just wondering where they are.

With rain in the weather forecast for the next two days won't be back out after them again until Thursday.

PS to Bucktail Bob and Pop Soul Skip. Look guys, I wrote the report today.  ;D
