first, Yes Mike, same slip.

Rod, very good question.  They both have there pro's and cons.

The Cuddy is great, alot of fishing room and seaworthy, but at that time I was fishing alot with my father, so there was always help when it came to docking, anchoring, etc.

Since he passed away, I bought the CC, which make it more friendly when fishing by yourself.  You can run from bow to stern to tie the boat up without things getting in the way.

The 2 boats are very similar in size.  The cuddy was a 25' 8".. powered with a 260 IO..  You get alot of rear fishing room, super great fuel range, but slow as hell compared to the power of the CC.

The CC is a 26' 1", but much less back fishing room, but you gain the entire front.  This is good for fishing, but I enjoy the large back better.  I powered this one to the boat capacity, so fuel sucks..

The Cuddy has storage and a place to take a nap if you want to fish early morning and sleep on the boat.  This year, I had to sleep in my truck.. lol...

All for all, I enjoy the sporty style of the Luna Sea 3 and at the moment like the CC better.

When my kids get older, I am sure things will change and the comfort or the Cuddy will be better.

Its all preference to the person.  If you fish alone alot, you have to get the CC...  If you know you always have a hand with you, get the Cuddy..

Yeap!.  I can see the difference.  love the CC  but that's a lot of rear room in the WA.

I'll be new boating next year.  still not sure   CC  or WA

Also, it all depends what kind of beaten you want to take on the water, and where you fish.  Both have so many pro's and con's, but in the end, it all comes to preference.  What you do is make a checklist of things you many want in a boat, shelter, storage, bay fishing, ocean fishing, etc.. and then pick the type that has more of what your looking for.
