Pt Pleasant VFW Fluke Tourney 2014.... Well forecast looked bleak this morning to say the least.. 10-15 gust to 20 out of the east .. But..Ya Don't Know if you Don't Go....and go we did..LT-- C&B JOE-- and Dolla Bill Couch making up the crew... Picked bait at the dock and headed out in a easterly blow at 6am.... Bay was actually flat despite the winds and as for the areas we fished conditions were MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED... first fish in the boat went 7.7 lbs with the next two going 5.9 and 6.7....picked and plucked 15 keepers the rest of the day between 20 and 27 inches and headed for the scales in crappy seas... Our top 2 were good enough for 1st and 2nd place and for the Calcutta doe.. That's 2 yrs in a row and 3 out of the last 4 or 5 i believe..

great finish to the tournament season now its all about filling the freezers then transitioning over to other species
