Pops Soul Short and Sweet
« on: August 30, 2014, 05:09:08 PM »
Well Cath and I got a late start today, didn't break SRI much before 10:30 - 11:00  pawle Made our way to our first drop not far from the inlet with the south wind already blowing, but the drift was not that bad and we boated 3 keepers in our first 45 minutes and then Cath said those words that for sure put the jinx on us, " Wow Babe It's going to Be a Great Day"  smk an with those words the tide topped out and it seemed like the south wind picked up a little stronger, we boated a few more shorts, after that and headed for the inlet around 1:30 with a freight train of boats  cfzd all pulling the plug on their day.  thud Capt Joe never seen ya, but that was a funny text " WAVE TO THE BOAT IN FRONT OF YOU"  yea I felt like a smacked ass  fcp. Mike Sharkbite hope it was nothing serious with the boat other then you were low on Oil  t^

Skip, good to see you coming back in today and thanks again for checking on us. The gallon of oil we dumped in did the trick. Apparently the sensor is set pretty high for the tank as we had oil left, just reached it's point for alarm to kick in and motor did it's job.
