Renaming a Boat
« on: September 20, 2014, 06:50:30 PM »
Hi all,

I am generally an very logical guy. There has been one boat that I have renamed. On the first voyage under the new name, she stalled, washed into the surf and up on the beach of ocean grove. Thankfully, no injury although the boat was a loss. I promised never to rename again, even if it was the S.S. Poopbooger. Any experience with this? I understand this is a bit silly.

Thanks, Doug

Do an online search for that subject.  You will find all kinds of weird ceremonies involving virgins urinating on your bow and plenty of alchohol.  Make a fun afternoon out of it. chrz

Just rename it "NEVER AGAIN II". That says it all.  TT^

it was a long festering problem that caused your loss, not the renaming of the vessel. Be logical. Do what Eddie says and have fun with it.
