Mostly cloudy and overcast and mostly dry with a good day and mixed day on the water. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly dry with mostly cloudy and overcast skies. The sun may make an appearance, but will not be the norm. Mainly, Western and Northern parts of the state could see some isolated to scattered rain and snow showers on Saturday and then again on Sunday. Highs will be in the 30’s to 50’s with overnight lows in the 20’s to 40’s. Water conditions are good for Saturday for almost all locations depending on which forecasts you look at; Southern and Offshore waters could be borderline to cautious on Saturday as well. Sunday conditions will vary from borderline to cautious for all waters again with winds increasing to 20+ knots and seas to 4 feet. Surf and beach conditions will be good with 1-3 feet and light to moderate winds on Saturday and 2-4 feet with moderate to gusty winds on Sunday. Water temperatures are in the 40’s and 50’s; even offshore waters have dropped below the 60’s this week. UV Index will be Low at 1-2/15.

High pressure will build across the East Coast on Friday and Friday Night, then move south and east on Saturday and Saturday Night. A warm front will lift north of the area on Saturday Night into Sunday. A cold front will drop down across the area on Sunday Night and then slowly move through the area on Monday and Monday Night. High pressure will then return to the region for Tuesday and another frontal system will move through on Wednesday.

Next week will start off with chances of rain on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before clearing for the rest of the week. Highs will start in the 50’s and then move back into the 30’s and 40’s with overnight lows in the 20’s to 40’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious on Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will vary by location from good to cautious, with many averaging borderline conditions. Conditions look to improve for Friday.

Tropics are quiet and the official Atlantic Season ends on Monday, with a very slow and uneventful six months. Long Range forecasts were almost perfect, although it might just have been luck!

Have a great rest of your holiday weekend. Hope your Thanksgiving was great! Thanks for reading.
