« on: December 05, 2014, 08:14:24 PM »
Wreckfish was here helping me today with instruction and guidance on how to layout and build the blank I have for Ruth, this mind you is after he was out black fishing all day and then spent another four hours with me. I have so much information in my head right now,I just hope I can do it all justice on this new rod build. Thanks again Phil for all your help. t^ chrz  Ya and my new name that you gave me "Garlic Joe"

Here is my report. Weather man sucks at predicting the weather. I suck at blackfishing. 8knts were 25knts. 2 to 3 ft were 6 with and 8 mixed in for fun. I could not keep the sinker on the bottom. I could not feel the bite. I need 4 Advils cause my knees and back are killing me.  Oh yeah, greens and whites worked equally well.......... and I suck at blackfishing  t^

Don't hold back Phil, tell us how you really feel about the weathermen and your blackfishing skills.   hhppy  chrz

To boost your spirits, I will make sure I fish RIGHT NEXT to you on Saturday's trip so you can laugh at all my swings and misses.   TT^ You will also be able to get a close up look of "The Stick" in action.

Well this week is turning out to be a bust, my daughter and her husband came in yesterday from N Carolina and will be staying with us this week. Unfortunately they are here because my Son in LAW's Father passed away sunday. This has been one heck of a start to this month. nosmly

A few pictures of the rod I have started for Ruth. This is just the under wrap, was hard as heck to get a decent picture in the light we have.
