That is a nice device for one type of knot. But what about tying other knots? Like braid.

its only for tying to hooks, There are a bunch of different knot "assistants" Ive seen ones for snelling also

For me it probably would be wise to get one of the knot tying cards first,then I could research what knot assistants I would need 5hrug. I always have to refer back to refresh myself on the different knots I use..at my age the memory ain't what it used to be. ;D

 fngr... I tried it at a show the only problem I came across is it has a ring for your finger to hold it and it was way too small ...  5hrug

Better to learn how to tie your knots without gimmicks.  What happens if you're out on the water and realize you left your knot tying gadget at home? 5hrug
