I'd bring both ( I always bring two ) I have one setup that is lighter for shallower water and a heavier setup for the deep...Plus both have a different feel..one has braid and the lighter one is a mono setup..The depth and bite that day determines which one I use..Plus nice to have a backup rigged and ready to go incase you get hung up during a good bite.. its easier to go to the backup and get back in the game faster !!
This is my second tog trip ever need some advice what type of Pole is best to use a stiff tipped pole or softer tipped pole. Any advice on which I should bring.
