That's really a two edged sword when it comes to opening federal parks for such use. My meaning is simply this. There are to many people out there that just do not respect the land enough to keep it in it natural state, I live next to County park land that was opened to bow hunting only, first year hunters were using it as access for Black Powder Hunting...Not Legal! They were hunting next to residents homes with loaded guns. I had to call the game warden to put a stop to it.
Fishing is another issue, just look at the trash that is left around areas that anglers have access to along the inlet and the canal.I was a hunter and still fish and I am always looking for areas to fish in, but when I see the crap people leave along the various public areas I can understand why those of us that respect the land end up getting a bad rap.
