Fluke Photos
« on: March 30, 2015, 09:07:15 PM »
Just wondering about Fluke photos. I like mine taken with the dark side facing the camera, I see others with bottom white side towards the camera. I know that sometimes the dark side gets patchy when fish are on top of each other in the fish box or cooler, I keep mine in the live well most trips. How do you guys prefer your Fluke photos and why?   ???

I think the important thing would be the background.

Dock shot=white up so you can see the fish against the brown wood of the dock.

Holding the fish, usually dark side toward camera.

I always like to have the dark side facing the camera. Something next to the fish so you can judge the size helps too. Getting the NJSWF logo in the shot is a plus  t^

I'm pretty much a dark side man myself.. although on real fatties, the white side looks cool too.. but I think the biggest key.. be it for eating or lookin at, is freshness.. After they been on ice for a while, the color turns to mud.. but when they are freshly plucked from the sea or even the livewell, and they all lit up, they look a lot nicer  t^
