Nice weather for the majority of the weekend, but very mixed water conditions. Both days of the weekend will be dry with sunny skies. Rain will move in later on Sunday for the night/overnight. Saturday will be the warmer of the two days with highs in the 70’s inland and 60’s along the water. Overnight lows will be in the 40’s for most, but some 30’s across northern areas. Highs on Sunday will be cooler with 50’s and 60’s, but overnight lows will remain in the 40’s. Water conditions will be mixed across the boards. Saturday will be good in the morning, cautious to hazardous in the afternoon and then possibly some borderline to good conditions later in the day into the overnight. Again, Sunday will see good to borderline to cautious conditions depending on time and location. Surf conditions will be good. At times winds could gust to 20+ knots with seas 1-3 and 2-4 feet mainly as winds vary all weekend. Water temperatures are in the 40’s and slowly warming. UV Index will be High at 6-7/15.
Low pressure off of the Carolina Coast on Thursday Night will be pushed east, out to sea, by a weak cold front moving through the area on Friday Night. A stronger cold front will occur on Saturday Afternoon. High pressure will briefly move in from the north on Sunday. Low pressure is then expected to stall over the Great Lakes next week leading to a cold front on Monday Night and another cold front possibly on Wednesday or Thursday.
The upcoming week will have rain chances on Monday and possible Wednesday or Thursday. Otherwise and dry week with sun and clouds. Highs will be in the 50’s and 60’s with overnight lows in the 40’s and 50’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious to hazardous on Monday and cautious on Tuesday and Thursday. Otherwise, the other days look good for right now.
Have a great Weekend and thanks for reading!
