Each year, in advance of Hurricane Season, the National Hurricane Center in conjunction with Hurricane Hunter Aircraft makes five stops on the East Coast. This year, they will be making a stop in Atlantic City at the FAA Technical Center on Monday May 4, 2015 beginning at 2:00 PM. The last time a stop was made in NJ was back in 1991. Parking gates will open at 1:30 and tours will be available from 2:00-5:00 PM. The Director of the National Hurricane Center, Dr. Rick Knabb will be present as well as many other hurricane and weather specialists. Aircraft Reconnaisance planes and crew will be available as well.
