Fished an open boat spot on the Monger today.
- Target species: Sea Bass.
- Departing time: 5:45AM.
- Started fishing at 6:30AM.
- Bait: Clam (some used Gulp, I didn’t and did not notice any difference.)
- Rig: Hi-Lo + 8 oz of lead
- Weather: Foggy but calm.
- Action: Bites from starting horn until quitting time today with lot of nice big Knuckleheads. I also had 3 tog ,two of which would have been keepers but back they went. Some ling and one small cod caught. Boat limit by 12:33 and headed back to the dock. Doesn’t get any better than today. Capt Jerry and John are great as always.
