Irish Ayes 6/24/15
« on: June 25, 2015, 11:47:56 AM »
Finally got out fishing with Capt Joe this year.  Andy was along for the trip as well.  This only my second time out this year.  It felt great to get out again.

Beautiful weather yesterday.  Bunker were everywhere.  Seemed liked there may have been some bluefish on them, but we couldn't raise a striper.

We then settled in for some fluking and sea bassing.  Drifts conditions went from almost nothing, and using a 1 oz. bucktail, to insanely fast and not being able to hold with a 6. We had a decent amount of action all day with mostly shorts.  We did end up with two keeper fluke and one fat sea bass.

But the big excitement didn't involve fishing at all.  It involved chairs!  Chairs you say?  Yup.  Two of them on the deck. cfzd

They were comfy too!  TT^  Judging from the pic I took, I guess Joe isn't really ready to admit publicly that he has deck chairs on the boat, but I suppose he'll eventually come around. ;D

It felt terrific to get on the water again.  Thanks Joe. t^

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Yeah, in a moment of weakness I purchased two chairs. They didn't stay on deck too long though. THEY GET IN THE WAY OF FISHING.  ;D

Good to have you aboard Bob, as always.
