Sharkbite Family fishing 6/29
« on: June 29, 2015, 04:25:29 PM »
A couple great days back to back with B-Day yesterday( (Thank you all for wishes!) and today a family fishing day which doesn't happen often and today, both girls were able to go with Daddy. Checked in with Capt to see how ocean was, told it was suitable for youngest who I'm breaking in still with sea legs. Rode up to red church area, temp back down to 67, couldn't find the elusive 70 mark. Drifted all kinds of drifts in W wind. My oldest Gianna, managed a short fluke, I had a skate and nothing else. Headed back in to SRI and tried the river, a few bites in 70 degree water, slack tide, slow drift. We gave it heck. Wouldn't trade the day for Anything in the world to share these moments in time....... ;D TT^ TT^

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

And FYI, your boat is floating good. We came through the back channel and saw where you are tied up. We checked ours yesterday after the rain Sat/Sun just to make sure all was good.
