Hi guys! Sorry this is late...I have been sick all weekend with a stomach virus and fever. Here are the conditions for the week and below is a summary of the weather.
Hot and humid to start the week with highs in the upper 80's and low 90's with slightly cooler temperatures at the shore. Overnight lows will be in the 60's and 70's. By midweek temperatures will drop by a few degrees, but humidity will continue to be high, possibly some moderate conditions at times. Showers and thunderstorms are possible all week. These chances are lower with scattered to widely scattered chances. Some storms could be strong to severe. Wednesday to Thursday could see some very high chances of severe weather from Michigan down to Arkansas. This is late for the season, but already being identified as a risk, so if you know anyone who lives out that way, give them a heads up! Water, surf and beach conditions are very unsettled with borderline to cautious conditions most of the week!
NHC is watching a system off of Africa that will be entering favorable conditions for development. This system has a 50% chance of development right now and is worth watching over the next couple of days.
Have a great start to the week! Sorry for the delay with the full outlook. Hoping, I will be able to get to it tomorrow.
