A mixed week for weather and water conditions. Showers are possible on and off all week with lower to moderate chances on Monday Night, Tuesday Day and Friday. Showers will be isolated to widely scattered. The rest of the days will be mostly dry with a mix of sun and clouds. Highs will be in the 50’s to 70’s with overnight lows in the 40’s to 60’s and even some 30’s by the end of the week. Friday will be the coolest of the days as dry and cooler Canadian air moves into the region. Water conditions will be mixed as well. Good on Monday and then borderline to cautious the rest of the week. Conditions will be right around 20-25 knots max with seas to 3 feet inshore and 5 feet midshore to offshore. So, while conditions will be borderline or cautious, there will be days and pockets of good conditions. Surf and beach conditions will be good to ok with some gusty winds to 25 knots and wave heights to 2-4 feet. Water temperatures are steady in the 60’s. UV Index will be Low to Moderate at 0-5/15.

A high pressure system over the forecast area will move offshore tonight and Monday. A cold front is forecast to cross the region Tuesday, briefly followed by a high pressure system on Wednesday. Then a weakening trough should pass through the Northeast on Thursday followed by a stronger cold front later Friday. A Canadian High Pressure system will then build toward the East next weekend.

The weekend will be dry as cooler air moves in. Highs will be in the upper 50’s to low 60’s with overnight lows in the 30’s and 40’s. There is a chance for the first freezing or below freezing temperatures at night. Water, surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious with winds to 25 knots and seas to 4 feet.

The tropics are quiet again.

Have a great week and thanks for reading! Sorry, for the delay.
