Hello guys question!
« on: December 21, 2015, 12:24:13 PM »
I'm looking to bring my girlfriend out for some fish. Any fish, but edible lol. I don't even know what is running right now, it's been soooo long. Any idea what boat I should try for? Not looking to spend a fortune, she has never fished.
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.

Blackfish are running now,  Down Deep charters have 2 boats out of Keyport and usually run open boat days
The Seahorse is a party boat out of Atlantic Highlands and the Gambler runs out of Point Pleasant.

If she's never fished before spend the extra money and go on a charter. You'll have a better chance at the fish and will receive better service too, better place to be for a first timer.

Agreed. Find 4 more guys or jump on an 'open' charter. There are some great boats around.

Good luck.
