A more settled week, but not without rain and cautious water conditions. Monday will be dry with patchy frost in the morning as overnight lows from Sunday to Monday could be record lows. Tuesday and Wednesday will bring rain chances. Tuesday Day will have scattered showers with more widespread rain moving in for the overnight. Wednesday will be more scattered to widely scattered showers. Thursday and Friday will be dry again with more settled conditions as high pressure influences the area. Highs will range from the 60’s to 70’s with still cooler temperatures at the shore. Overnight lows will be in the 40’s and 50’s with the coolest overnight lows across northern areas. Water conditions will start off cautious on Monday with gusty winds to 30 knots and seas to 5 feet inshore and 10 feet offshore. Conditions will begin to improve Monday Night and then good for almost all locations for the rest of the week. Delaware Bay and Midshore to Offshore areas will be borderline to cautious on Tuesday and Wednesday before improving for Thursday and Friday. Surf and beach conditions will be ok on Monday and Tuesday with gusty winds on Monday and elevated surf at 2-4 feet on Monday and Tuesday. The rest of the week will have good conditions. Water temperatures are steady in the 50’s. UV Index will be Low to Very High at 1-8/15.

Low pressure will continue to strengthen slowly northeast from northern Maine reaching the Maritimes tomorrow as high pressure in the Carolinas moves out to sea. Low pressure is expected to pass northeast off the Mid Atlantic coast Tuesday night into Wednesday. Midwest high pressure builds over the region Thursday and into Saturday. Then, another southern states low pressure system may be heading northeast toward our area later in the weekend.

The weekend will have shower chances for Saturday Night and Sunday. Highs will be in the 70’s inland and 70’s at the shore. Overnight lows will be in the 50’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be good for Saturday Day, then winds and seas pickup for Saturday Night and Sunday becoming borderline to cautious.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
