Damn, now I don't know if I want the SX or MX for my needs. Probably spool with 30 or 50lb braid.

What application are you plan on using the reel for?

live lining/jigging/chunking for bass/blues. Mostly on the bass pro 6'6" XH Muskie rod.
Figure I will stick 30 or most likely 50lb power pro on it.

Is this paypal deal for everyone with an account or did you get a special email offer or something?

It is for everyone with an active, valid paypal account and the vendor has to participate.

used my account to get 50 off an xbox 360 for our son for xmas. FF was going to use hers for the reel :)

My opinion and mine only is that both a lever drag and braid is overkill for what you intend to use it for.

For me, I'd spool it with #30 Momoi Diamond mono. Chunking/clamming, live lining and bass/blue jigging are the only style of fishing I still use mono for.

Mboy, where did you order the Xbox 360 and what was the price, if you don't mind me asking?  I am looking into getting one for my son.

I ordered from overstock.com, but they are sold out on that model now. I ordered the premium with HDMI. Check every couple of days there to see what they have.
Also go to paypal and see what vendors are participating.

I'd go with the Saltist.  But if you can find a Torium for that price snag it! ;D

Do you have another link to the list of participating stores.  What I found was a list of 14 stores and Boater's World wasn't one of them.

That is the only list I have. I just happened upon boatersworld today and noticed the banner on top page.
Just go to boatersworld to see it right there.

Ok thanks.  It looks like Boater's World must be owned by the Ritz Camera people.

Hi Mboy,

My buddy owns two bait and tackle shops on LBI, and I have to tell you that he says that reel is a nightmare. This reel constantly comes in for service, salt and water finds their way in way to easy, causing much grief.
That avet seems cool, for all around, and with braid, as much as you fish I would up to 65lb braid. Just my opinion.
Good luck.
