Was back at it today. Had Kevin D, his dad, Tom (my former boss) Huey and his brother John and Lenny with me today. Hit the spots where we had them yesterday. The fish vacated the area.  :P

Tried several spots on the Klondike and the Sea Gert reef. Dead zone today. Kevin kept asking what we'd do for a Klondike bar. Damn song stuck in my head all day. I'll keel you Kevin... 00ps

Did have one keeper, just over 18" and a sea bass. Had a brown shark checking us out again today. Pulled my line up off the bottom and stopped it near the top. Started jigging and the shark charged the rig, took a bite and that was it. Right thru the 30# leader just like butter. Didn't figure to get him in the boat but would have been fun playing it out for a few.  t^

Guess I'll have to try again tomorrow.  TT^

Joe I headed out to the reef (9:30 start) but ended up back inshore off Belmar. When I had a drift it was great fluking. when the wind died down it was robins and skates. The wind picked up again and fluking got good again. It finally got too much and I quite. I caught about a dozen with two keepers a 21 and a 20.
