Read in the Fisherman boating issue that the Johnson brand is being discontinued for now in favor of the Evinrude name; reserving the right to bring it back later. Guess they've been reading this board. 
Yeah, BRP is going E-Tec or bust. That's a lot of eggs in one basket. Surprised they're not offering 2 stroke DFI E-Tecs under Evinrude and 4-strokes under Johnson or something like that. Personally, I'll hate to see the Johnson brand go to the wayside. Hopefully they will bring it back at some point, or someone else will buy it and get something going with it.
