Well Known Local Sporting Goods Closing
« on: September 29, 2016, 05:48:47 PM »
Going on reliable intel, a very local to me well known sporting goods store is closing after over 100 years. Sales are supposed to start tomorrow. Kind of sucks for the area as it was pretty much the last place around here to get freshwater live baits. So if anyone is looking for some discounted gear, here's the opportunity.

Yes, Efingers. Had to stop on my way home from work. Parking lot was full. 20% off the majority of the store. 5% off firearms, 10% off ammo. Walked out with a new surf rod and a few new lures. Lots of reels left if anyone wants to pick one up.

They've had team uniform sales locked down for quite a long time especially after we lost Rays Sporting Goods in North Plainfield. I believe they are still going to handle that department but the store will be no more.

anybody get any deals?

I shopped there many times over the years; obviously not often enough....

Picked up some good stuff too, they had a good selection of everything from Mountain Bikes to Firearms, and everything in between. It was fun to just go browse too, there was that much to see.
