Another unsettled week with cautious to hazardous water conditions. Showers are possible most of the week, but chances are lower and showers will be isolated to scattered. Highs will be in the 60’s and 70’s with overnight lows in the 50’s and 60’s. Water conditions will be good to cautious for Monday becoming cautious to hazardous with gusty winds to 30 knots and seas to 8 feet. Surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious. Water temperatures are in the 60’s and 70’s. UV index will be Low to High at 1-6/15.
Low pressure will weaken as it moves into New England tonight. High pressure will build down from Canada Tuesday and Wednesday, settling across New England and persisting through the mid week period.
The weekend will have chances of showers with highs in the 60’s and 70’s and overnight lows in the 50’s and 60’s. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious to hazardous.
Hurricane Matthew is still a large and powerful Category 5 storm heading northwest towards Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas. Matthew should remain off the coast and will only affect water conditions, but this storm and track needs to be closely watched. There is another invest in the Eastern Atlantic/Caribbean that will move northeast and stay offshore as well.
Have a great week and thanks for reading!
