Full Moon Friday Night Madness
For many of us Friday's are very special. After a tough week on the job, or at school, it's finally time to relax, time to enjoy ourselves, time for fishing, and, for many, time for High School football.
During full moon periods Friday's are even more special.
For the fisherman night snapper fishing under a full moon can be absolutely outstanding. August 19 was no exception. For the last full moon, before dry dock, the Florida Fisherman ll headed for the fabulous Florida Middle Grounds & vicinity. Captain Bryon Holland lead the charge. Honorary Captain, Mrs. Jamie Hill, proved that she can drive the boat and catch the fish. Jamie's father was ever so proud of his daughter:
Next up High School Football under an October "harvest moon."
My school, Jesuit, is destroying ever opponent this season. Leading the Tigers is running back Malik Davis. Malik is closing in on the Hillsborough County all time career rushing record.
During the 2015 season Malik set a Jesuit rushing record of 357 yards against Tampa Catholic, and ended the season with 2,337 yards, and 28 touchdowns. This season Malik will surpass last years record season. What a thrill watching this young man, this highly skilled young man, at work. On October 14, 2016, the Robinson Knights saw, first hand, what Jesuit's Malik Davis is all about.
After watching Malik score five touchdowns I had the honor of shaking this young man's hand.
For many of us 'Friday's are very special!'
