Out of Sayreville 6 am.... going out blind with not much intel except poor water quality and blues abound. Started off Keyport with decent marks with plenty slammer blues, then over toward the church off Staten Island with similiar results.Turned around and headed up the channel towards the hook and landed 2 short stripers 27 and 24. crossed over channel and did a very long troll towards Hoffmans Island with a couple big hits and more monster 3 foot blues just past Great Kills. Wind Really kicked up this afternoon from South East, was not expecting that at all(thought i saw North, North East this morning?
...Have not had any luck with hard plastics at all this year, everything on small shad 9er umbrella rigs and mojos. Hope the stripes take care of business and come back soon.
