Another nice day on the Fluke grounds with some very nice fish once again!
Had the last of the incoming and took advantage of it while we could. Once we found a line of fish, we worked it hard picking away at the shorts and some quality keepers.
Vic, (who took a beating this Bass season), got paybacks today and lead the way with the first 3 in the cooler including his 7 pound pool fish. Steve fishing in the Bow got it done by days end along with a couple others. Several customers had 2 nice fish each and yet some still had No keepers by days end! Shorts yes, but no keepers.
So far we've found Baby Porgy, Flounder & Crab in all the fish we've caught, no baby shrimp or tiny krill that we normally see when the water temps move up. I still haven't read any of it either in the channels or on the flats....The crew will hook you up as too what's working now, when you come aboard.
Back at it tomorrow!
