That's what they should've called it.
Headed out about 430am spotted a couple tuna busting on top just outside the 3 mile line. Didn't have the gear to handle the task so moved on after watching a few minutes. Hit the pots about 8 miles off the highlands bridge. Tossed some spearing, casted poppers and jigs but no one was home. headed to the mudhole. Trolled feathers and cedar plugs. Then casted poppers and jigs. Found a booby-trapped hi-flier so moved on. Hit Shark River reef to find pots basically right on the edge of the reef all around it. Picked up a ling and released a bunch of nice sized seabass. Made a run to Barnegat ridge. Only saw a giant sea turtle and had a school of albies cruising through but they wouldn't bother with anything either. Moved on towards Barnegat reef but that was a parking lot. Headed north along the beaches playing snag and drop with the schools that were splashing the most. Didn't find anything under them. Raced back north to so I can refuel and get home without too much traffic. Docked just before 4pm
