NJ Fishing & Boating Weather Outlook Weekly January 7-13, 2019
« on: January 06, 2019, 08:43:49 PM »

An unsettled week with poor water conditions. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will have rain chances with some areas of snow and wintry mix possible; mainly Northern NJ. Any wintry precipitation will be less than an inch of accumulation. Thursday through Sunday will be mostly dry and sunny. Temperatures will start off more mild and then drop as conditions dry out with the passing cold front. Water, surf and beach conditions will be cautious to hazardous. Wednesday will see Gale Force Winds and seas to 15 feet possible. Water temperatures are in the 40’s.

High pressure will build over our region through Monday before shifting off shore Monday evening. A pair of troughs will cross the region Monday night into Tuesday night. Cold high pressure returns for the remainder of the week.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
