I just wondering the guys using PP braid for pulling Stretch 25's.. are you using steel leaders to prevent break off from choppers?? or is the braid holding up??

I don't use steel leader. The stretch lures are long enough that I never had a blue up to the line. I use about 10' of 50# leader, this provide a little shock absorption when you hang a fish. I also pull bunker spoons and have caught striper on the braid. I use 50# braid and  a 6 to 8 oz drail sinker about 6' in front of the spoon to get the depth I want. I also have had good success with the large bunker stretch lure. I hope this helps.

I also use 60# power pro on all my trolling outfits. I use about 10 feet of 50# fluorocarbon for leader. Never needed steel. The best time to troll them is before the blues arrive. I did well on all of them last year except the "loud and noisy" one. Its an orange and yellow one. I have also trolled them with no leader and caught.
