The future of our sport:
The past of our sport:
Many decades ago my fishing career began fishing the miles of grass flats just off Courtney Campbell Causeway Beach. The flats were loaded with trout, Redfish, Flounder, and even an occasional Snook. Often we would spend the entire day fishing and enjoying the many pavilions along the parkway. On the long weekends we would cook our catch in the huge BBQ pits.Today, as seen on Captain Dylan's live TV show, 4/12/20,the fishing is still fantastic:
Think fishing is just for the guys? Think again!
The passes are loaded with Pompano:
The Hogs are still around and they are running BIG!
Off shore the entire around Egmont Ship Channel has been STEAMING HOT!
If you look closely you can see the Egmont Channel Marker to the right of this proud angler:
The area is also a hot spot for Tuna:
In addition, the Spring Kingfish Run is off & Running. And, as usual, the ladies do their part.
Years ago we watched in amazement as the masters showed us who, what, when, and where to fish.Today, through the 'amazement' of TV, we can still learn from the 'Masters of Today'!
