SEA TOW always for me. Nothing but positive and when you call them, you are speaking directly to the Capt who is coming out to get you.

Large presence in our area as well.

I have heard good things about Boat Us, but I have zero reason to even think of changing from Sea Tow.

I have Sea Tow also. No problems or complaints.

I've only used them once when I had an electrical problem and they came and gave me a jump start.

I have Towboat US and used them once.  Excellent response time.  Both are good and you can't go wrong with either.

It really depends on the guys servicing your area.

I belong to Sea Tow, which is great (Highlands, NJ) but the Boat US in Atl Highlands is also very good......talk to guys in your service area to see what they think. You can go onto both the Tow Boat US and Sea Tow web sites to get the listing of guys in your area.

Food for thought, who ever you sign with go to your local rep to sign up, this way you get to meet them and they get more money for the membership than if you signed up on line TT^

He is in our area Bob as he is on my dock this season :)

The bottom line is you need to have 1 or the other or it will cost you BIG $$$ when you need them and don't have a service contract.

I like TowBoatUS because their docks are in the exact areas where I boat.  They have one dock right at the Manasquan Inlet across from the CG station and another in northern Barnegat Bay near the Mantoloking Bridge.

Been with TowBoatUS.No problems.Check the area and cost of different policies. Some depent on distance towed and sea conditions.Different charges for ungrounding, and repeated calls over alotted amount,or towing further to/from your Home port.
Both these companies have good reps.

I went with towboatus.  12 years as a boat owner, I thought I'd never need this stuff.  bngh.

Last year I needed them for the first time. Now I'm older(maybe wiser?  ;D), I won't sail without them.  Piece of mind.
