I have two booked already but if we can put 6 together I might do another.  What boats do you guys use?  I have mine on the Over/Under boats out of Avalon.  Done well with them the last three years but of course fishing is fishing.

CR is a proven catcher, BUT, I would much rather set a hook on my own, I'm a big boy now  bngh   ::)

Prime weekend dates around the moons in Sept and  Oct are already booked.

Maybe get enough interest here to get 6 guys together for a charter??

I'm sure we can find any charter outfit even at last minute notice, but I would prefer to sail with someone who can keep the anchor line out of the props   ;D

Most of the charter boats set the hook for you to make sure they have the fish on.  In Maryland they let you chunk or jig on your own.  One of the problems is the array of rods and baits which require some constant action to be sure they are performing correctly.  We usually take the rods by number when a fish is hooked and if you keep loosing my fish when you try and hook it I might be upset, just kidding I have seen you hook a Blackfish....  Why not try to get a group to gether?

I wouldnt even know where to begin this debate????
The fishing industry is built on numbers. Set sail on certain boat, come back to the dock with X number of fish. The Capt looks good with a high number of fish in the cooler/on the dock.
Are you happy with someone handing you a rod, already hooked up,  with a fish  ready to be gaffed?  Some people like it. Especially if your a first timer to offshore fishing.
Personally I would rather drop 10 YFT's than catch 1 that someone set the hook on.
Its not about the meat, its all about the chase.
